Spotted Hyena

Published:

Description

A spotted Hyena, as designed by Lionel Albertino.

Made from a single square sheet of origami paper (12 inches) and painted on one side before folding.
The unpainted side was bright orange and can still be seen in some parts.

For this and an other upcoming model, I had to make a few pre-folds to find some key parts first (like the head) before painting it. I also opened another model I previously made to have a crease pattern to help out.

This piece is nice. The hyena is very popped in your background. You chose a very good piece of paper to do this certain piece. I especially pops in the green hill. The only thing off about it is, well the backgrounds are cool and all, but, these backgrounds aren't really showing me a story. One of the most important things about making a piece is giving the piece's background a story. This particular piece is beautiful. I wonder while looking at your art, "Did he/she even make this" because your pieces really are worthy of being shown on here. Mine aren't people use this website to show off but I can sense you have the potential in you to be one of the greats.
