Origami Bear Cub by FoldedWilderness Origami Bear Cub by FoldedWilderness
"The trees that are slow to grow bear the best fruit."
-Molière (1622 - 1673)

This little fella is of the same design as one of my very first upload on DevianArt, seen here.

This time, I used painted paper and wet-folded it, in order to give the bear some volume and a bit of personality.

Model designed by Lionel Albertino.

Wow! Looking at the original, improvements are really clear. I have to say I really do like how you fold your creatures now. It does well to add, as you put it, personality.

=)

Thanks!
Ever since I first tried wet-folding and also wet-finishing, I have been using it as much as possible.  It's specially beneficial for animal models, to give them a more rounded look.

:iconyesyesyesplz: It's a fab technique, though it requires patience and I'm only starting to try and size my paper. Lots and lots to learn, yet! :faint:
