Best buds

I guess this photo shoot became less about the origami and more about the real turtle we found on a gravel road in a park.
It's not a domesticated turtle, so it was a bit weary of our presence at first and spent several minutes hidden in it's shell before coming out to play.

After taking some pictures, I relocated it a bit into the trees, closer to the lake and further away from the road we found it in.
Hopefully it was happy we didn't take too much of it's time and helped it off the road.

As far as it's paper friend goes, it's a model by John Szinger, wet folded from a square of scrapbook paper. 12 by 12 inches.
